Your home network (under construction - 2/19/11 - in the meantime, call us!)

Your computers and internet connection at your home create what is called a network. In other words, your technology pieces can have a connection to each other. You can share files on your computers, share printers. You can watch movies on your television but also on your computer.
What matters?
In order for you to experience your technology with happiness and peace, it's actually important to have the best that you can afford for your particular situation.
- Internet speed and quality is important if you are online frequently, if you use Skype for calling your family in anohter country or if you watch television via your internet connection.
- Wireless signal strength - depending on what you are doing (i.e., watching a movie), the signal strength can be a factor. This is one where you have to try the connection and see if there is an adverse impact.
- Distance and barriers - the distance from your wireless router, whether some agree or not, is a factor in the quality of your signal and connection. Also, if the construction in your home is composed of higher grade wood in your doors and if your walls are thicker, the quality of your signal can be affected.
More to come....
